Took a while for me to get around to this but here it is, hope you like it!
UPDATE: I modified the VS to make the aero preview corners square (the preview panes that appear on the taskbar) - my bad - forgot to do this before i uploaded.
Features Invisible Windows Controls (buttons only appear when hovered over) Glass Breadcumb & Search Bars Glass Progress Bars Square Windows White Window Shadows Larger Windows Borders Square Start Menu Transparent Start Menu Transparent Jumplists Animated shell
Instructions: Download and run the Universal Theme Patcher [link] IN ADMINISTRATOR MODE (right-click > "Run as administrator"), UAC must be turned off Once patched, restart computer to take effect
If you want the new Quarter Start Orb you will need to replace the existing explorer.exe in the C:\Windows\ directory with the version included, to do this you will need to take ownership of the program [link]
Love the theme! Except, can you remake the caption buttons (Close, minimise, etc.)? When I hover over them, the normal Aero buttons don't 'sync' with the theme. I don't know about others, but this is only my opinion. Still, LOVE DA THEME!!
Awesome theme, graphics are flawless as far as I've seen, just some minor things: -I seem to be having an issue with the default window decoration not giving way to yours... i.e. Window's window decoration glassy gradient affect is still there, layered with your angled glossy effect. :/ -You may want to think about adding a bitmap for the reduced size taskbar if at all possible, or at least an alternate one for those who don't use the taller taskbar. (if that's confusing, just look at my taskbar in the link)
- In relation to 1, hmmm that sounds weird, can you send me a screenshot of the two window decorations being applied at the same time? - That i do! Will try to get a new version out at some point and let you know. Likely to be a few weeks tho, the amount of time i have to spend in photoshop/hacking dlls is limited atm.
In the link you posted i couldn't see the windows gradient you mentioned, the screenshot looks like exactly what I've got on my box. Bit more details might do the trick, graphics settings, text size...
Oh... I'm so sorry... >.< I too a closer look at the top-right panel of your image for the windows and saw that. Yeah... there's nothing wrong... I saw the outlines for the windows in the bottom right panel of your post here and thought that they would look exactly like that. ^.^; It's all good. Sorry about that

No rush, I know how it goes. ^.^
